It is being mined today at just a few locations around the world, the most famous of which is the Anahi Mine in Bolivia. We specialize in unheated and untreated real ametrine that was mined in the earth! We do not heat treat or irradiate any of our ametrine. Many gem dealers sell heated and irradiated "ametrine". Here at mineralminers.com, we do not sell any heated or irradiated ametrine!
