This fancy colored diamond is of a saturated deep brown-Orange color. The color is totally natural and has not been enhanced or treated in any way. The brown modifier appears to give the orange color in this diamond a warmer deeper tone than in a pure orange diamond, although a pure orange diamond would be much rarer. This diamond is a very similar color to the "BURNT ORANGE" colored diamond #50 of the "Aurora Collection" pictured in Steven Hofers' book on colored diamonds. It also is a very similar color to our "diag147". The diamond is cut to good proportions with a great return of light, brilliance and color. We would put it’s clarity as a good VS-2 diamond. This center diamond is of a unique orange color. Certified by Professional Gem Sciences as:1.534 carat Pear Shape Brilliant Cut, Clarity Grade I1, Fancy Mn* 5YR 6.5/5 *(Moderate Yellowish Pink). This pear shape diamond is also Certified by G. I. A. as "Fancy Brown-Orange". The color in this diamond is totally natural and has not been enhanced or treated in any way. The orange color in this diamond with the brown modifier appears to give the color in this diamond a pink tone in most lighting conditions. The diamond is cut to good proportions with a good length to width ratio for a pear shape, however under close inspection it is not completely eye clean with naturals left by the cutter in the girdle area on the left side of the diamond, and two visable inclusions on the right side of the diamond.
