This one (1) pound piece of natural serpentine was mined in California. It is shown here at left with a sample carving (made by one of our staff). The material usually has some variation in coloration with a yellow-green being the predominant color. This serpintine is also great for making cabs. The sample dolphin is not for sale, just the rough serpentine rock. The material carves fairly easy with a hardness of about 3 and will take a good quality polish.
