This matrix specimen has a fine grained grayish-green schist matrix with ten partially exposed magnetite octahedrons visible around its surfaces. The largest magnetite crystal in this specimen measures 11mm across, and several of the magnetite crystals in this specimen have terminations in perfect condition!
