This beautiful necklace of natural black tourmaline faceted beads was hand-crafted from 100% natural black tourmaline crystals that were found in Brazil. These opaque tourmalines were shaped into rounded, disk shaped beads which were then faceted & polished, drilled and strung into this black tourmaline necklace with an adjustable length from 17.5 to 18.5 inches long using its sterling silver extender clasp. The photo at left shows a close-up view, see also a full view photo of this faceted bead black tourmaline necklace. These shiny black tourmaline beads sparkle very nicely. These are all untreated natural tourmaline beads with no dyes, no fillers, and no epoxies! They are 100% natural tourmaline beads, and when examined closely they show occasional natural pits & cracks.

These genuine tourmaline bead bracelets are strung with natural tourmaline beads on an elastic band fitting all wrist sizes up to size 7 1/2. Most of these genuine tourmaline beads are so dark that they are actually black tourmalines, while a few are a very dark green or dark brown. These are all untreated natural color tourmaline beads with no dyes, no fillers, and no epoxies! They are 100% natural tourmaline beads, and when examined closely they show natural pits & cracks. See a close-up photo of these black tourmaline beads with occasional flat spots on their surfaces, and there are occasional small inclusions of other minerals within the tourmaline. Some of the black tourmalines are small crystal sections and others are naturally terminated crystals (all have completely natural unpolished surfaces). Many of these small black tourmaline crystals are bi-terminated! These black tourmaline pieces and crystals are in mostly good condition with some broken surfaces. They were mined in Brazil.

We specialize in unheated and untreated real black tourmaline that was mined in the earth! Black tourmaline crystals are mined today at many locations worldwide. These natural black tourmalines are mainly used for metaphysical purposes, however black tourmaline does also have some very interesting scientific uses as well. Black Tourmaline is naturally pyroelectric, which means that a black tourmaline can produce an electrical charge when it is subjected to a change in temperature.

A piezoelectric current can also be generated when pressure is applied to a natural black tourmaline.
