This andalusite gemstone was faceted from a natural andalusite crystal that was mined in Brazil. This andalusite gem is strongly pleochroic with separate areas showing orange-brown tones and light olive green tones depending on lighting and orientation. This gem is very well cut with good brilliance and no windowing. It faces up completely eye clean with some very faint natural silk inclusions only visible under close inspection with bright illumination (GIA: Type II Gem, Clarity Grade VS).

It shows a preponderance of reddish tones in the face up position. This fine andalusite gem was nicely faceted at 13mm x 7mm x 6.1mm deep. It is completely eye clean in the face up possition. This Rare size andalusite gemstone was faceted from a natural andalusite crystal that was mined in Minas Gerais, Brazil. It is pleochroic with nearly equal amounts of reddish tones of orange and brown and yellow golden-green tones depending on lighting, movement and orientation. This fine exceptionaly large andalusite gem was nicely faceted at 18mm x 10.4mm x 7.2mm deep. With close scrutiny, it is slightly included with two dark specks showing near one side in the face up position. It does show some other noticable inclusions under magnification.
