We have a large selection of genuine peridot jewelry designs in stock including peridot necklaces, earrings, bracelets and peridot rings which are available in pure sterling silver and also in solid 14k gold.
From ancient times until the eighteenth century, peridot was known by the name topazion or as topaz. This was due to the fact that one of peridot's earliest mining locations was on the island of Topazios which is known today as Zebirget (formerly as the Isle of St. John) located in the Red Sea. In the eighteenth century the official name topaz was given to our mineral topaz of today, and gem-grade green olivine crystals then became known as peridot!
Peridot is still being mined today at several locations around the world. We specialize in unheated and untreated real peridot that was mined in the earth! Right now, we are offering natural raw peridot pieces in all sizes including some very rare large peridot mineral specimens & amazing large peridot crystals weighing over 300 carats each!
