This specimen of naturally terminated jacare quartz crystal (also known as elestial quartz crystal) has a relatively thin flat shape and all natural surfaces and terminations. The back was attached to matrix and has mostly broken surfaces. As shown in the close-up photo at left, there is a natural internal inclusion in this crystal which is a fluid filled chamber inside the quartz with a small bubble trapped inside the chamber. When you turn the crystal back and forth, upon close inspection this small bubble can be seen actually moving back and forth within its fluid filled chamber inside the quartz! There are natural internal inclusions in this crystal which are fluid filled chambers. There is a small bubble inside one of these natural fluid filled chambers which actually moves back and forth within the chamber inside the quartz! This is popularly known as an elestial enhydros.
